Hire cars could be a thing of the past…

Popular tourist destinations Majorca and Ibiza are banning all tourists from driving all petrol and diesel cars when on holiday, in a bid to protect the island from harmful CO2 emissions - instead electric cars will be available. The ban on diesel engines will be in place by 2025, with petrol cars being banned by 2035.

Chaos for those travelling to Gatwick

Bad news for those looking to travel to Gatwick via the railways over the next three Sundays. Due to engineering work on the 25th February, 4th March and 11th March trains between London and Gatwick will be cancelled on those days. The work is to replace a key junction at Earlswood.

London City Airport closed

12 Feb 2018

All flights to and from London City Airport have been cancelled after to an unexploded WWII bomb was uncovered nearby. The device was found at George V Dock on Sunday morning. Metropolitan police and the Royal Navy have set up an exclusion zone surrounding the area to decrease risks to the public.
